Phaztech Adaptive Cycles Indicator

Core · Seven simultaneous cycles

The flagship of the suite. It isolates seven harmonically related cycles at once — each double the length of the last — straight out of price using bandpass filters. For every band it measures the cycle's real current length, measures its real current amplitude, and projects that wave forward so you can see where it expects the next turn. Each cycle plots in its own hard-coded color.

The left portion of each line, over historical bars, is the actual measured wave. The continuation past the current bar is the projection — the indicator's forward estimate based on the length, amplitude, and phase it just measured.

The signal that matters most

Confluence. One wave turning alone is a hint; several colors turning the same direction at the same time is Hurst's synchronicity — a much stronger case for a turn. Use it to anticipate a reversal, not to chase one after it's already visible.

Under the hood — the bandpass filter

Each of the seven filters runs price data through its own bandpass filter — tune it to one cycle length and it cancels the slow trend beneath and the fast noise above, handing back one clean wave. Run it seven times, once per band, and the tangled price series is separated back into its individual cycles.

Key inputs

Select_Cycle False
False = automatic Hurst-style defaults chosen from your chart's bar type. True = use your own seven lengths below.
Cycle1 … Cycle7 10 … 640
Your seven target lengths (only active when Select_Cycle is True). Keep each roughly double the last to preserve the harmonic relationship the measurement logic assumes.
Bandwidth 0.3
How tight each filter is. Smaller = cleaner but slower wave; larger = faster but noisier. 0.3 is a tested balance.
UpdateEveryTick False
Match to your chart's "update value intra-bar" setting — off if your chart updates only on the bar's last tick, on if you've enabled tick-by-tick updates. Leaving it off can help performance when several heavy indicators run at once.
Print_Model True
Prints a one-time reference table of the default cycle lengths for every chart type. Informational only.
LicenseKey ""
Paste the license key you receive at purchase — the indicator won't run without it. Each key activates on up to two devices.
DeactivateThisComputer False
Set True to free up this device's license slot (e.g. before moving to a new machine), then set it back to False.

A fresh length is only accepted if it lands within 33% of the band's nominal length; otherwise the last trusted value is kept. This favors stability — occasionally at the cost of lagging a genuinely changing cycle through choppy stretches.
