Phaztech Adaptive Cycle Strength Indicator

Dashboard · Which cycles are in control

Where Cycle Waves draws the shapes, this one answers a single question for each of the seven cycles: how strong is it right now? It plots seven lines, CS_1 through CS_7, each a reading of that cycle's strength — essentially its amplitude relative to its wavelength. Because it shows the history of each reading, you can see not just which cycles are large, but which are gaining or losing strength.

Why it's useful

At a glance you see which cycles are currently "in control" of the market — producing clean, tradable waves worth acting on — and which are weak and better ignored. It tells you which of the other indicators' signals to weight most heavily right now.

Key inputs

Select_Cycle False
Automatic vs. manual cycle lengths.
Cycle1 … Cycle7 10 … 640
The seven manual lengths, where you can input your own cycle lengths/nominal model.
Print_Model True
Prints the nominal cycle-length defaults for each bar type. Reference only.
LicenseKey ""
Paste the license key you receive at purchase — the indicator won't run without it. Each key activates on up to two devices.
DeactivateThisComputer False
Set True to free up this device's license slot (e.g. before moving to a new machine), then set it back to False.

Indicator plots historic cycle strength calculated by cycle length (which is adaptive and adjusts with normal cycle length variation) divided by amplitude of the cycle and is plotted in a subgraph so you can see the relative strength of each cycle and if it is getting stronger or weaker.
